The fire department is currently understaffed by eleven firefighters and the Township refuses to replace them?
As of January 24, 2011, the normal response time to your home or business was less than two minutes?
After 01/24/11, that response time has likely doubled on most days?
The Township has made no other significant cuts except for PUBLIC SAFETY

On January 24th the Town Council agreed to reduce the number of firefighters per shift, closing an engine company on most days.

The decision was made to close ENGINE 1, the busiest fire engine in town.
